How to form the letter N

Capital N: Down, a slant up to the right, then down again.

Lowercase n: A line down, then one hump.

Say the movement out loud while your child writes. Naming the strokes does more than showing them.

Watch for: One hump for n, two for m. Also n reversed becomes u, pointing out that u opens upward helps.
