Each sheet prints on one side of A4. Use the PDF for printing and the image if you want to save or pin it.
1. Trace and write N
A solid letter to copy, then dashed guides, then blank handwriting rules. Capital N first, then lowercase n.
2. Find and color every N
A grid of mixed letters with N and n hidden through it. This builds recognition rather than handwriting, so it works before a child can write. Both cases appear. Plenty of children learn the capital and then do not recognize the lowercase.
3. Draw the N words
Three boxes, nest, nose, net, with the word to trace and room to draw it.
How to form the letter N
Capital N: Down, a slant up to the right, then down again.
Lowercase n: A line down, then one hump.
Say the movement out loud while your child writes. Naming the strokes does more than showing them.
Watch for: One hump for n, two for m. Also n reversed becomes u, pointing out that u opens upward helps.

Build a nest from twigs and paper in a bowl, then add paper eggs.

Touch your nose whenever you hear an n word.
You will need: Nothing.
